Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

RV show in FL?

What is the best (largest, best represented) show to attend in FL? When I do a google search, several shows come up.

Thanks,

The Tampa show is by far (IMO) the best in the country. You can camp onsite too, if you register in time....

Everything I hear says Tampa is the best. We will be at our first workamping job for the Florida State Parks in January and are planning to attend.

Thanks everyone! I think my plan of action (when the house sells), will be to try to buy down in FL, as that's where we plan to domicile. It probably makes the most sense to establish our address first, then make the purchase and register it there. There have been many good threads about whether to buy at the show or at the dealership before or during the show. Unfortunately, this January will be too soon. But Jan. 2015 seems like it can be a very realistic goal, especially if the house is ready for market by the Spring.  Of course, if we sell quickly, we may not want to wait that long!!!

Tampa without a doubt for Florida shows.  Some say it’s better than Hershey.  Arguably so in my opinion.   We’ve been to both several times and I think Tampa is probably the better show and as Jack says, probably the best show in the US.  And Tampa is warm in January - usually.  There is no other show that comes close in Florida.
