Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hey friends,  Since I have never had to do this on my own, I need help. I have a 2008 Honda CRV and need new tires. I have no idea what kind to buy or where to go.. Can't believe I only have 27,000 miles on it and the Bridgestone's are almost bald.. I bought this vehicle used last year so don't know what these tires have been through..

While I have no idea what size your CRV takes, nor what tires are available for it, I've always made it a point to at least look at Michelin tires.  Over the many years and different vehicles that we've had, we've had good results and a smoother, quieter ride with Michelins.  Our current F150 has Michelin tires on them and just this last summer, I had family members tell me how good of a ride we were getting with our truck.  Much of that is due to the Michelin tires.  We've had them on all kinds of vehicles from a Volkswagon Bug up to our pickup trucks.

They may be more expensive, but they could very well be worth every dime extra.

All well established tire retailers have listings of all suitable tires for fitment on your Honda. So, what it will boil down to is brand name, disposal fees, labor costs, adjustments and taxes.

Use of the internet for price comparisons will be very advantageous to the novice buyer.
