Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
When I was a youngster (this movie came out in 1953 when I was 7-years-old), my dad worked as a truck driver, a weekend farmer, and evenings running the projectors at the local theater. As part of his family, we got to see all the movies we wanted for free. I imagine I haven't seen this movie since those days, so I may have to order one for myself.

Some have been talking about going to RV shows and I was wondering how many of you have seen "The Long, Long Trailer" with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez? If you haven't seen it, you really should. I have always loved the movie ever since I was a child. I never fail to be on the edge of my seat when they get in the mountains even though, for the 200th time I have watched, probably more, I surely know how it turns out! It is must see! Growing up in the 50's/60's I was one that loved "Lucy".
We watch the Long Long Trailer just about everytime we go out in the RV. It's one of our favorites.
I've always wanted to pull my 5th wheel using a convertible. I may soon have the chance, my old tow vehicle which we use for hauling stuff to the dump, has developed a case of bad rust on the roof. There's a spot about a foot in diameter that has gotten so bad you can push your finger through it. I figure in about 6 years the whole roof will be gone. I still have the hitch in it so once the roof is gone I plan to tow our 5th wheel up the coast. I'm taking singing lessons so I can sing like Desi did while my DW is in the 5th wheel fixing dinner as we drive along.

Great movie. I love all the old trailers, cars and technology. Another RV related movie is called "Winnebago Man". A documentary about a pitch man for Winnebago.

I LOVE that movie!!! My husband can do Ricky's voice perfect can't tell you how many times he's said "one of these day's Lucy" (my names not Lucy) but it's still funny!
We're work camping in the Black Hills and another working wife has a rock collection. I have to laugh every time she shares a new rock. I love rocks, but only have one small pumac and a couple fossils and a BIG one she gave me from Crazy Horse. That is getting shipped to my Grandson.
