Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Tonight's BBQ Potluck in South Dakota was a blast. Ann-Hank are work camping and helped with all the logistics in arranging for several of us to get together with all the other work campers at their location.
Dreamers in Attendance:
Standing Bill & Loretta (Loretta), Dale & Ruth (NWEscapee)
Seated Ann & Hank (Ann-Hank), Allen & Donna (Fergizmo, aka, The Fergs)
The "Washington Refugee Group" - reuniniting after the Fall Rally in Harrisburg OR, when none of us were full-timers, now we all full timer's with different rigs than we had in September of 2012. What does Howard always say about a Rally speeding things up for some of us? We are all now South Dakota residents with some of us just getting our licenses today.
Working hard at BBQ'ing the meat:
Loretta and Bill who some of you may remember from the Boon Docking Rally, we were enjoying hearing the stories!!
And finally - admiring the RV Dreams Rally Tee shirts and the creative braiding!!
We were hoping a few others were going to join us who are work camping in the area, but that didn't happen. While we missed them and are especially wishing Phil & Rudee well wishes, we had a great time catching up and I think we might have convinced a few other work campers from this campground that it's about time they join the best and most friendly RV forum out there!!!
What a great time tonight.. thanks to great friends. We sure missed meeting you Rudee and Phil. Our thoughts are with you Rudee take care and let us know if you need anything.
Thanks, all for the well wishes. We were both so disappointed not to be able to come, we have been looking forward to it since the first mention of it.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for tomorrow and putting our trust in the Big Man above that all will turn out OK. One thing for sure, 2013 has not been one of our better years after getting flooded, surviving a bout with breast cancer, losing our summer work camping gig and now more medical stuff but we can easily find others who have been less fortunate then us and with cyber friends like all of you ....... well, lets just say it helps, a lot! Thanks for your support and prayers.
Phil and Rudee
