Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Maybe this search from the RV Bookstore will help - http://rvbookstore.com/shop/cv.aspx?c=176 . We learned a lot from RV books when we were first starting out, including before owning an RV.

I Just bought a Fleetwood Bounder 1998, personally very happy. Problem never owned an RV before so a virgin to this style of living. Is there any pointer or information I should know. I am slowly doing the reading of the owners manual which is very vague to say the least. I have never set an RV up at a campsite, sewage, electrical, started a generator, shower ect... I would be very thankful for the info.
I would suggest doing a search of each of those topics on this forum and reading as much as you can. Then pose questions to help fill in the blanks. Finally, I suggest signing up for a Rally or two.
If you are going to use YouTube then I would recommend using Firefox and the Video DownloadHelper addon, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/, to save the downloaded video so you can replay it later. This is not what Google wants, but is what many do. You don't have to use Firefox as your default internet browser, just have it installed.
Of course I am coming from using cellular internet, with its bandwidth limits. If you are not mobile your internet is probably not metered, so you can download videos over and over again as you want.

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. As the others have mentioned, this is a good site for obtaining information and ideas. So, feel free to ask your questions, and NEVER get the idea that a question is a "dumb" one. The only dumb ones are those not asked and one experiences either embarrassing or expensive results from the wrong attempts.
Also, to help you some, check to see if you can find other forums, specifically for the Fleetwoods and the Bounders and you may find yourself able to find answers that are specific to your brand and model. Keep in mind that forums have a tendency to draw folks that are looking for answers to problems, so don't get the idea that the brand or model is not any good because of all the "problems." I'd venture that there are a lot more satisfied owners out there than those asking for solutions.
I used my "Google-Fu" skills to find you a couple of forums to start with:
