Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Mom we lost you yesterday, we expected it, but not so soon. I belong to this nice Forum on the Internet called RV Dreams, you know how much we always loved the RV Life, we always talked about going Fulltime and taking you with us. Now it looks like we will be taking you with us in spirit. RIP Mom We Love You!!!!!
So sorry for your loss. I lost my mom last October and she was looking forward to traveling with us on certain parts of our travels as well. Knowing that she is in better place and watching over you is a comfort. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
so sorry for your loss. My Mom passed 3 years ago and I sure do miss her. She loved going camping and had many good memories of camping friends and evenings around a campfire, she loved the lifestyle. We have a beautiful picture of her that was taken just a few weeks before her passing that is hanging in our motor home, this way we can take her with us on our travels.

Sorry for your loss. It is always difficult no matter if it was expected or not.
We lost my father-in-law in May and have been spending our summer with both my mother-in-law and my own mother. My own mother could go anytime, but she is fiercely independent and makes her own decisions. My mother-in-law is figuring out who she is as a solo and deciding if she wants to continue being a fulltimer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It is never easy to lose a parent, especially one that fully understands us.
I lost both of my parents many years ago, but among all other things that they did for me and taught me, the love of camping and being in the mountains probably tops the list. I'm sure that her thought would be that you be happy, regardless of what you are doing.

Sorry for your loss. Lost my mother several years ago and to this day I can hear her remarks when I mess up or do something stupid. May she be in your heart and thoughts forever.
My father too dreamed of lots of travel in his retirement years, and joining us out on the road. Sadly, he passed just a few short months ago - also sooner than expected.
*sigh* Wish I had words of wisdom to impart, but I don't. Words still escape me.
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. God will bless her and keep her close so you and your family will know that she is again being well taken care of.

So sorry to hear about your loss Gene. It's never easy to lose a parent no matter how much we know it will happen.
Your mom will always travel with you in your heart.
Our thoughts are with you also.

Our sincerest sympathies. So sorry to hear about your mom. We have one parent left between us, Marla's mom. Our first trip when we retire will be to Beaverton to see her.
