Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

No spill pet bowls??

What kind of pet bowls do you use for travel that don't spill??

We use a good size bowl with a snap on rim on top that is a brand called a Water-Hole. Used by both our cat and pup. It's no spill unless the cat plays her game of getting down and shoving her shoulder into the bowl then jumping up trying to catch the splash! Very rarely she will tip bowl over doing that but it's only about once a year. 😄

We have the same type of bowl.  The "lid" comes off for easy cleaning, but it serves to keep the water from sloshing back and forth and spilling out.  We use it in our fifth wheel and in our trucks when we are taking the dogs on a long trip.

We use the same bowl. In fact, we have two so we can take one in the car if needed.

<<<<< adding this to the list of things I hadn't considered!

Thank you, didn't even think of this!  We will have our babies with us - our 26 lb Maine Coon, Dozer and our Lab / Retriever, Dozer (sigh, don't ask - but it IS a funny story about why they are both named dozer).  I call him "Pup" though.

In any event, I hadn't even thought about the need for these bowls so, thanks!

Below are a couple of the latest portrait shots I took of m'babies.  My Two Dozers

For travel I took a butter tub and cut a hole in the top and fitted a yogurt cup with the bottom cut out......no splash and easy replace and recycle method!!...(shown to me by an Experienced RVer..)
