Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I kind of stumbled across this site from reading on another.
My wife and I live in our 5th wheel full time but we both still work for 1.5 more years. This has been a great experience to date and we cant wait to travel more, especially during the summer months in Az. We do make a few trips to Colorado a couple of times a year which we really enjoy.
I look forward to talking with the good folks on this forum and hearing some very interesting stories I'm Sure
Hi, Welcome. This site is a tremendous resource with lots of helpful folks participating. We lived in our 5th wheel for two years, after selling our house but still having to run a local business. We were able to travel summers due to the nature of that business and went cross country and back three times. Finally able to close that business, and go. Has been just over a month now. We are officially "retired", but will continue a consulting business we've had for 20 yrs which can be worked from the road. As that business is legal in nature and subject to continuances, we sometimes get a change of plan, but being mobile gives us a bit of flexibility. In any event we will slowly head cross country once again, going to Tampa in mid Sept, returning to Las Vegas Feb-Mar-Apr. After that? Who knows? We found the transition to be much more seemless, having already moved into the RV. This site was instrumental in our decision to go full-time initially, and I continue to learn from it daily. Hope your experience is the same.

We can relate to your wanting to be out of AZ during the summer months but we do miss our pool. None here at our current CG.
Your year and a half will pass before you know it. If you can plan to attend a RV-Dreams Rally we really recommend it. It's pack jam full of great information, great people and great fun!

David, welcome to the RV Dreams forums. Like yourself, my wife and I are living in our fifth wheel until we retire, possibly within a year or more. Glad to have you as part of the family of dreamers and those living the dream.
