Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Its been raining here, non stop, since Thursday afternoon. And supposed to continue until next Thursday.
I feel bad for all these weekend campers with kids, looking forward to the pool and the jumping pillow and other outdoor activities. Luckily, the owner of this KOA set up a movie theater in a conference room and has been showing movies and doing tie-dye to give the kids something to do. Even the drive-in movie down the street got rained out!
Guess its good to be at the top of the mountain.
Tomorrow we move from this site to the one we picked for our more permanent site. Its wider, has no one on three sides, has handicap parking on the other side, so we can spread out a little more. And its right across from the office, bathrooms, laundry. It will be much more convenient. But, moving in the rain is a drag. The mats are wet, the dogs will be wet.....yuck!
So, thank you for listening to me whine about this non stop rain. I spent an hour trying to blow dry and straighten my hair, only to walk out and have it fluff out like a dandelion. *grr*
It has been raining here on and off all weekend, we are moving tomorrow about 100 miles South, hope the rain holds off for the move and setup at the new CG.
We were able to get out and do some things in the area between the rains and got a lot of sleep and needed rest.
On the edge of the Olympic Peninsula but we have morning clouds but afternoon sun. Gorgeous, with a gentle breeze in the afternoon and cool nights for sleeping. But we had lots of rain until last Wednesday.
Sherry

Yeah, be careful what you wish for. As soon as the endless days of rain stopped here in Canada, the sun and the bugs came out and the temperature is soaring into the 90s every day!
We had a two hour window of drizzle and actually some sun...........we moved from site 10 to site 4...........got all set up........and it started again. Good timing!!
Wow: I had been wondering what that big yellow ball (almost blinded me; LOL!) is or if we would ever see it again!!! LOL! Unfortunately they are calling for more.

We have been getting a TON of rain this year so far. For a couple of years you could set your watch and 5pm expect a 15 min shower then all was good to go... NOWWW thanks to global warming: every hour on the hour 10 to 15 min rain. I havent had a good hair day since rainy season started and I am a hairdresser!!
Well, we had a nice, sunny day today in central Ohio, but it's raining again. It seems like we've had rain at some point every day for weeks now! I'd be glad to have a few days without, but it doesn't look like that'll happen any time soon.
