Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Texans on 4 Month RV Trip

My wife, Carol Ann, and I left Texas about 3 weeks ago in our '07 Fleetwood Discovery.  We are both retired pharmacists, natives of Georgia but have also lived in Alabama, Illinois, and now Texas.  We left Nacogdoches, TX last month and are now in Virginia where we have been touring Civil War battlefields for a couple of weeks.  We leave tomorrow for Gettysburg, PA and will be there for 5 days to tour the Gettysburg and Antietam battlefields and other historic sites.  We will meet a Fantasy RV Caravan group in mid-June in Bar Harbor, ME.  There, we will begin a 7 week trip up through the Canadian Maritime Provinces.  We have been on 2 previous Fantasy Caravans, both to Mexico.  We should be back home in Texas by the end of August.  I am blogging the trip on http://robert-carolann.blogspot.com and previous trips are in the blog's archives.  My hobby is photography and I try to include some on the blog.  Hope to learn something on this forum.  Thanks.

Robert and Carol Ann,

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  You may have noticed that as a moderator of the forums, I have activated the link in your first post to make it easier for future readers to easier access your blog.

Glad to have you as part of the "family."  Feel free to ask questions and add comments when your experiences provides you the knowledge to help others.  You will find that a lot of others here are "contributing to the family" as it were.

Terry

Robert and Carol Ann,

Welcome. Sounds as if you have quite an adventure planned! Love the Gettysburg area, so beautiful with so much history. We've personally never heard of Fantasy Caravans so you already taught us something.

Looking forward to your blog.

Sherry
