Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Saturday is THE day!

We had planned to wait until our home sold, but found a deal that we don't want to pass up.  So on Saturday, we are traveling 5 hours to purchase our new full-time home. It's exciting and scary all at the same time!  We'll go back in a few weeks later to actually take possession and do our walk thru. But this step means no turning back!  YEA!!!!

We started looking for our coach almost immediately after we sold the mpg because we have been told many times that it can take a year or more to find the right coach. About a month later we brought our Foretravel home. I'm retiring a couple of years earlier than originally planned, but it will still take a while to get rid of all of this STUFF!!! Hope to put the place up for sale in the spring.

Thanks guys! Sorry I didn't say what we bought, but didn't want to jinx the great deal. We bought a 2013 Aviator Wright Flyer by Forest River at almost 1/2 of the retail price. It was the 2012 Best of Show. Now, we just need to get our home SOLD! I retire at year end, hubby already retired, but I would live in it tomorrow. And our State government has screwed up and we will only pay 1/2 of the normal sales tax. I can't wait to start moving in all the "stuff" I bought specificially for the TT. wooo hoooo.

David, we decided to go full-time about a year ago. Our daughter has taken or ear-marked what she wants, friends have pre-bought a few things, a good deal has gone to the resale and donations to thrift stores ... the balance will make up our auction when the place sales.

We are down sizing from 3300 to 275 ... major cleaning going on here!

Grams,
We basically have done the same thing, except we won't be putting our house on the market until next year. We are waiting to pick up a 2014 Trilogy 3650RL.
I am starting to clean out stuff now, having a first round yard sale in a few weeks. I hope we can sell most stuff. I am wondering about a moving sale for the larger stuff.
Anyway, congratulations and best wishes.
