Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Workamper News yearly subscription

I wanted to ask those of you who use Workamper News  on a regular basis, is the yearly subscription worth the fee?  Or, can you find just as much opportunity for employment on other internet sites who don't charge?

Thanks for any input!

Well worth the fee if you use it.........worth the fee for just the articles in it.........worth the fee for the amount area your resume is posted....

The sites that dont charge are good but remember because they dont charge there are alot more people on those sites going after the same jobs. I would rather pay the membership fee and get the benefits of belonging to the organization...workamper gives you tons of tools and help to get you out there.....the free-bee's give you nothing but basic trial and error

I've tried alot of them and as most will say....workamper is it!!

look on the main page and there should be a listing for it with a discount thru howard and linda......if you are going to workamp full time I would suggest getting the plus membership to start.............

good luck!!!

We subscribe and find it well worth the money. It is amazing the amount of work out their for RV'ers. They also send a daily e-mail with new listings in between the monthly magazine mailings. This is how my wife found her workamper job.

I found every work camper job since Dec. of 2009 through Workamper News. Worth the cost and all the benefits. I used the online magazine and the daily hotline was used to get most of the employment. Only once out of a dozen jobs came from the magazine which has many useful articles.

Ditto to what everyone has said. WKN is the way to go. I have the online subscription -- no mail magazine, but who needs more paper in their life! I even found my current position through WKN.

We are members too, not actually in the market for jobs yet, but I do like to see what is 'out there', lots of other interesting stuff on their site too, not just open positions. Definitely worth the fee!

We haven't started yet as still working. (For 16 more days) We attended their 3 day seminar last fall and it totally convinced my hubby, who wasn't sold on workamping. I had started with the basic subscription, but paperless. Hubby signed us up there for the Gold membership! We look at the hot mails daily to see what is available. Give us ideas on what we would possibly like for our future jobs. We found everyone at WKN to be very helpful. Can't wait to get started!
