Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

TV Commercials

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed an increase in commercials showing RVs? I wonder if its just like when you buy a new car then notice all the same brand on the road but I kind of wonder if its become more mainstream?

I haven't noticed an increase but I do know this is the time of the year folks start thinking about travels so it is the perfect time to show RV commercials and have RV shows.

I did notice the "Go RVing" Commercials have started up again.

I know some of the You Tube full timers were approached for a cable TV show, I think A& E but I'm not sure. I think MSM may be looking to do some new reality show, so more commercials might be a prep. RVs are one of the few American made products left, so sales would boost the economy a little, but more importantly, it feeds escapist fantasies, both those of wealth, and also those of pure escape, as a lot of people are seeing RVs as an escape from rent.

It will be the next "Fad".. Boating was for awhile till gas went thru the roof, now its for the diehard boater.
Weekend camping can easily be sold as a family outing, low payment, look where you can go, etc.
After a year or 2 it will die back down because most don't have the time to go, and the payment is still there. Kinda like boating!
