Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have a line on what looks to be an awesome combination that is in cherry condition and both units have been garaged. If interested please inquire by Email to abschultz276@yahoo.com.
2005 Ford 450 crew cab. Equipped with all extras available at the time. 6.0 diesel, 21,000 mile. Custom highway body with lots of storage space. Truck is equipped with both a 5th wheel and gooseneck capability. Extra 50 gallon fuel tank. Both vehicles have always been stored inside and are like new.
2003 Alpha Gold 5th wheel. Top of the line Alpha. Includes everything except a washer & dryer.Includes: cal king bed, walk in closet, 3 tvs, stereo system, satellite system, 3 slides, total 399 square feet of living area. Electric step. awning & stabilizing system, also all black & gray water valves are electric. Kitchen has an island and many storage compartments.
Do you have any idea as to the cost for the two different units? Also, are they available to anyone that just needs one unit or the other, and what prices would be on each separately and as a pair?
Terry

When I originally spoke with this gentleman he initially told me $65000. I'm not sure this is very realistic and subsequently
have been in contact with him to post it @ a more reasonable price. Haven't heard back from him yet.
He is the father of friend/coworker, he is an older gentlemen, has no longer any desire to use the unit and in fact has had it under cover for some time.
Frankly at that price I didn't want to advertise the price and kind of hope others might contact him with a reasonable offer.
My interest here is simply that it is such a nice combo I would like to see someone who is in the market capitalize on it.
I asked about splitting the combo and although I don't have a definite answer to my question yet I expect it to be forthcoming.
Here's the followup reply from Al Shultz Sr about pricing.
"These two units cost $150,000.00 new. I am willing to sell both units for $55,000.00. I am also willing to split the units, however I cannot sell the truck without the RV because I wouldn't have a tow vehicle. The 5th wheel is for sale alone for $30,000.00."
Hope this helps anyone who might be looking for an immaculate rig.
actually it sounds right for us---we're a few weeks from closing on the house and freeing up the funds though. i'll contact this gentleman and see if it's still available. thanks!
