Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
OK, we've broken ties with the local dealer, now trying for a dealer closer to our trailer location. Lots of frustration, a few tears on my part, a few choice words on Dale's part and we're hoping for better results the 2nd time around.
We are withing 2-3 weeks of being ready to put our house on the market, bought the trailer, can't seem to take delivery of the truck despite being 3 months past the date of ordering the first truck. Trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel and hoping it's not a train
You'll make it. Sounds like a great solution. Have you interviewed realtors yet? Recommend you talk to 3 and get their marketing plans in writing before you sign an agreement and have tThe one you choose ready to go when your home is ready. You may find, like we did, that the first (or second or third) already has someone looking in your area for your type of home. The realtor we worked with isn't someone we'd have chosen to list it ironically. Her dear husband is in an expensive Alzheimer's temporary home until she can find ongoing care and she is a bit overwhelmed and stressed right now and desperately needs the money but we were happy to sign a one-buyer agreement at a 3% fee with her for our sale. It helped us and helped her so win/win. Originally she was recommending a sale price based on comps about $25,000 lower than we felt our home was worth based on our own research so we held firm. We know we were very lucky but we really hope you get a similar outcome!

Thanks Sherry, we already have picked our realtor, met with a house stager, etc. Pre-sale inspection next week just to make sure there's nothing else major that would need to be fixed. Will be glad to get the house prep behind us!!
