Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Soon To Be Full Time RVers...

Hello, this is Jana, my sweet husband Gary doesn't do computers c So I will be telling him all about you. Gary is a HS math teacher and will be retiring at the end of the school year, then the fun shall begin. I am a stay at home Nana. We have never camped or driven an RV. (Helped kids move across country in the biggest Uhaul they had) But we do love being together. We will start a Music Ministry full time this summer. Again, I do computers and not sing! Gary sings and doesn't do computers. We are so meant for each other. He was the lead singer and band leader for 16 years at Nashville Cowboy Church, then we moved to Texas (where I'm from) four years ago. Gary sings and writes Christian Country music. Where better to be than Texas. We do love our country music down here. There are at least 150 Cowboy Churches in Texas alone. So we are taking to the road. I've read much of the forum and really enjoyed it. I'm like a dog with a bone when I start researching things. I feel like everything I've read about RVs over the last month, that I could build one. hahaha

We will be buying a very used Class A this summer. Getting our feet wet and saving for a newer one in a year or so. Need to pay cash. I have done just about everything as far as hobbies. Sewing, quilting, painting, crochet, knit, etc. So one of my biggest things to deal with is picking out a couple that doesn't take up much space. I will have to take along at least one of my sewing machines. It's my baby, can't leave it behind. My husband has 5 guitars, a couple of basses and 3 rhythm. We have to figure out how to store all of them. And I don't even want to think about his size 14 boots and all those cowboy hats. We have our work cut out. I laugh and tell him, behind the toad we will have to carry another trailer just for his stage clothes, boots and hats. We hope to stay at RV camps that will let us have church or at least music. He is very entertaining and also sings just regular old country music. Hope to see you "On The Road Again" as Willie puts it.
