Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

question for all you full timing hair dressers!

Hello!  We are still in the dreaming, research, planning stages of this full time life style.  We are just 50 years young and will still need some income to live on the road!  I have been a working licensed Cosmotologist for over 30 years and was wondering if there are any others out there who are putting their shears to use on the road for a little extra cash?  I know about state laws and all so dont shoot me on this one!  Thanks and I love reading all the info you guys have to offer on this great site!

Carol.....State laws dont count when you are taking care of a " friends" hair. like I said in the other post I would gladly "Compensate" someone to cut my hair on the road

Not only that but there are many out here doing it!!!!!!

I have paid for curtains made in the parks and seamstress work
I have paid for baking goods
I have paid for lube oil & Filter
coach washing & waxing
I Even had a friend that was a massage therapist that had her coach set up for that

all of these where supplied by RVers for RVers within the park all avertised at the campfire and word of mouth....Just dont hang a sign up and they will come to you.

Good luck....and if you see me on the road looking shaggy......point at the chair and I will gladly be a customer!!!! I would think on a Saturday you could cut a half dozen men and style that many women if you wanted!!!!
