Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello Everyone.. We are about 4 months in to full time rving. Been located here at El Paso the whole time. Our waterpressure recently has gone to nearly null in the kitchen, shower and toilet. It has been extremely low most the whole time using a waterpressure regulator (55 psi) as well as a water filter. Not much caring for our shower but now cant even shower at all. Again we are so new to this life style and trying to learn how to repair this problem. If someone can explain in crayola I would truly appreciate this..

Sounds like a bit of discovery is needed here. First, change the water filter for a new cartridge. If no joy, remove the regulator. Then, if still required, check the inlet screen after the water filter going directly into the rig. Those things sometimes plug up with debris from who knows where.
Since it is rig wide, the problem most probably lies in the inlet side. Another wild thought, disconnect the water hose and check volume from it. Open wide and see if the hose might be collapsed.
I work for a company that sells RV parts and we've seen quite a few failed pressure regulators. If possible remove regulator connect hose and see what kind of volume comes out of the regulator.
It's probably the screen at the connection leading into your RV. As indicated above they clog up with crud. You'll need to take the screen out and clean all of the tiny holes by back flushing it.
Also check each of your faucets and shower heads, they have screens which may be plugged.

My Cedar Creek had a check valve behind the screen...every once in a while it would stick and I would have take a screwdriver and push on it.Beware..stand off to the side or you will get wet(ask me how I know) :)

Thought I would let you all know how everything turned out.. Though it is embarrassing I am sure we are not the only first timers.. lol We found out that we have a water filter on our RV that came with it. We been purchasing the 90 day filters since we were unaware of this. Since it was next to the vacuum we thought it was somehow part of that.. lol At any rate, once the old one was removed it was the most amazing thing. lol We have the best water pressure now that we never was able to enjoy since we started.. Showers are incredible now too. ;)))
Thank you everyone for your help as it is always appreciated..
