It would be helpful if you posted the region of the country you are in, Would burritos, tacos work, nachos and cheese sauce; fish and chips; and of course hot dogs and chili dogs and maybe chili for them cooler; rainy days.

thnaks for the scoop, I really apreciate it. We are in Central Flordia, most of our customers are snowbirds from Michigan, Wisconsin, Canda, etc. It was great to hear someone call a pepsi or coke "pop". They are doing Burgers and dogs now but I don't believe they are serving Chile on the dogs. Nachos and cheese are a great idea. We talked about maybe serving Tacos, we could give them the Taco with the meat and have a table set up with all the add on items so they could serve them self. We don't do any deep frying so the fish and chips may not work for us. Again thanks for the ideas and the reply, it was very helpful. Joe

Try making Pasties. Look them up. You could make them in a normal size or as smaller versions. Folks in the south would have no clue but those from Michigan, Northern Wisconsin, Northern Minnesota, spots of Montana, Canada know what they are.

How about wraps? They are easy to make and you can use the same fillings that you put into sandwiches, also breakfast burritos are popular. I would be careful about letting people help themselves to toppings etc, it can end up costing you a lot to keep them filled up, not everyone will only take a 'fair share', yes, i'm talking from experience!

Bet if you did homemade chocolate chip cookies every day you would sell out & increase coffee sales.

Good idea, some times we just set out cookies and coffee as freebies, these I think we will stay with the store bought cookies but......Cookies we sell......Some good homemade cookies would go over great. We have four ovens so we could crank them out pretty quick . Thanks for the good idea. We did lemon squares yesterday and they did real well as did the brownies. The Hot dogs and the burgers always do well I'm told. We also did some chicken salad sandwiches that sold pretty good. Always looking for new and fresh ideas.

Home made COOKIES? Now you have the Cookie Monster in me wanting to know what part of central
Florida you are in. We are in the Sebring area and loving it. Pasties are a great idea as the snow birds should relate to them.

We are in Bushnell, at a beautiful RV resort called Paridise Oaks. This is a beautiful mid size park that is only a few years old. It has a nine hold golf course circleing the park, a beautiful pond with a water fountain in the middle of the park that is also stocked with bass and bluegill. This park is as clean as a pin; Pam and I really enjoy it. Come on by and see us and I'll make you some cookies.

You didn't mention it, but do you sell ice cream and Italian ices or snow cones?

We do have a ice cream social every Sunday afternoon. We don't do snow cones or anything like that. At the social they have the scoop ice cream must be about 6 or 8 tubs and all the fixings, good stuff.
