Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
LM: I really "feel" for you! You will need to borrow Santa's reindeer if you decide to leave from there soon!!! That's if you can locate the RV. You need to do a Happy Dance for some NW winds to blow the storm out to sea!!

Putting gas in the generator........and telling the little kid next door that when I was his age I shoveled a driveway twice the size of mine for 5 bucks and that 25 is nuts!!!!!!
He told me 25 again and said he would be back in the morning with his buddies to watch and wanted to know my next of kin!!!!!
when he walked away I peppered him with a snowball......sure hope his grampy isnt home, this could be all out war!!
By the way ......Bingo has been canceled here friday nite
Weather forecast here....
1 to 2 FEET of snow Severe blizzard conditions...visibility under 100 yards wind gusts 20 to 30 mph...
Why do I get the feeling Nikki will want to go out for a walk in the middle of it all!!!!!!!

We are not lost in the Woods.....Just Extreme boondocking!!!!!!
You have time to call the North Pole and talk with Santa; tell him he must have skipped you at Christmas and you need to borrow his reindeer for a few hours> get some harnesses and hook them to the Rv and get outa there!!! Either that or have fun with Nikki walking you. Remember Huskies; even if they are small still like to romp in the snow. See you in August!

Lucky Mike you could be out here with us in sunny AZ. Temps today in the mid 70's but it is going to get cold (60's) over the weekend. You know what they say, better to shovel sunshine rather than snow. Stay safe and warm.
we have a full tank of diesel for the tractor and generator and plenty of propane so we should be good as long as the fuel holds out. stay safe everyone!
We are with you Mike....expecting between 10 and 16 inches of the white stuff here in the Poconos. We have our two 100# and two 30# tanks full and are all stock with some good eats.....you know what is great about this.....no shoveling a driveway!
Stay safe and warm out there in the path of this blizzard!

Really hoping you all out there stay safe and warm! I used to love blizzards when I lived in NE Ohio. We housewives would have "blizzard parties", sent the kids downstairs to play and as I recall our refreshments included frozen whiskey sours, popcorn and whatever we had to share.
Keep us posted, ya'all.
Sherry
PS, now I really understand the Lucky in Mike!
