Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Just was wondering, has anyone changed out their boarder? and if so, where did you purchase it from. also, is there a site just for rv wall paper and boarders?  thanks so muchblankstare

We just put in wallpaper from Home Depot. We had a leak and we repaired it from the inside out. Would have taken forever to get it into shape for paint so just wallpapered over it - no problem. Over the stove area we put in glass mosaic tiles. Instead of the normal bonding agent we went with sheets of adhesive and then stuck the tiles to that and grouted. Also we have repainted the whole interior. Used a primer/sealer like Kilz and then just normal latex paint. Nice when you can add your own touches and make it your own space. Good luck

No special place, find a paper you like, online, or at a store and go for it. If you get a border the same width you can go right over in most cases.

Like Gene says, any border will work. Only tip I have is if you are applying it over existing wallpaper or border, use wallpaper paste. Don't rely on the pre-pasted stuff you just wet to work. You can use wallpaper paste on the pre-pasted border without a problem.

Thanks for the feedbck, i  think my best bet would be online. the stores around here have done away with(most) of their boarders.  we have been looking at some good used  units, but i don't like many of the boarders., and most seem to peel off easily.  so again, thanks..

When putting boarder over other wall paper or the vinyl covering like used on RV wall board, there is a special boarder paste that will assure tight adhesion. Just make suer it says it is for vinyl over vinyl application.
