Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

If you don't mind me asking..why is she in FL scouring RV's? Is this the best place to find RV's? One of my many questions so had to ask.

Thanks!

Kelly

Kelly Best place to buy will depend on whether you are buying new or used..........time of year and region

Winter months .....in the northern snow belt

Summers in the south

stay out of tourist and metro areas........

Even when buying new alot can be saved by following those guidelines

But right now everyone is in Fla at the RV show.........the ladies looking at new rigs.....the guys looking for corndogs and a place for a nap!!!

Well Im glad shes comming home early, out of viddles, have dirty dishes in every container in the house that can hold water, tired of running to Taco Bell to go to the bathroom, also down to my last pair of shorts and I'm so absent minded I think I put her hunnnny dooo list in the trash....again

When purchasing a rig from FL look out for water damage. The humidity and the amount of rain they get can really do damage to a rig and this goes for any rig in high humidity areas even in the north. Best spot for older rigs might be in areas like AZ NM and drier areas.

Thanks Bill, have been thinking of that myself. It kinda hard to look at dealer rigs and if they can find a good repo or deal they will import from wherever. I reall thought I found a great deal on an American Eagle, but looking close to the pics, tons of rust.
When we get close to the final of our S&B I will really give the bottom a good check. I did ask one RV sales if they allowed an under inspection in there shop due to insurance issues, he said no problem.
Thanks for the heads up....John
