Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Reb123 Found on the Internet

For those that took an interest in "her" because of her spam messages, I took the liberty to do some searching today.  As some of you know, Jo and I work for a state law enforcement agency here in Oklahoma.  So, I got to work today, searching for more information about "Rebecca."  It is absolutely stunning of the power of the internet and what one can do with it.  I managed to find a picture of Reb123 out there, so I thought I would share it with you.

However, because some might find the image "disturbing," I've chosen to NOT post it within the body of the message here, but instead, to provide those interested with a link to my Photobucket account, where I have placed the photo.

With the thought of a possible "disturbing" photo, I hereby "dare you" to check it out.....

....Shoot, I "double-dog dare you" to take a look.

On a later post, I'll give you more about the image you will see....

.....if you have the courage to look......

Whoa....What a Woman!!!!!!

Terry

Remember the old song "Is it a boy or is it a girl" would seem to fit in this case.

OK.  For grins and giggles, here is the "back story" on the picture linked to above.

When I was still in high school back in the '60's, I came across that picture.  I had about 25 wallet sized copies made and gave most of them away.  I kept one in my wallet.  While I have no idea of the actual source of the photo, I was told that a darkroom genius had composed that photo from the features of six different guys combined into an image of a really ugly girl.  But, hey.....wouldn't it be likely that six guys would be uglier?

Then, the fun began when I was in the Army.

The guys in the barracks would get to talking about their girl friends and then begin to start showing pictures of them.  Seeing the pictures usually led to raucaus laughter and kidding about "that girl probably dating one's best friend while one was in the Army."  When that process would begin, I would hold back until someone asked me, and that normally was when there were a number of guys involved.

I would whip out that photo and the effect was immediate.  It would be dead silence at first as each one tried to come up with a "nice" comment about "my girlfriend."  I mean, after all, could one even say that "she was lovely?"  Following the moment of silence as the viewer's mind raced to think of something to say, they would glance up to look in my eyes.  Their expressions would generally be indicative of someone desperately searching for something nice to say and looking to me for an idea for those thoughts.

As new people came along and the process started again, the "experienced" guys would stand behind me so that they could see the faces and the reactions of the new viewer when I showed off my girl.

So, now you have an idea of why Jo is guaranteed a place in Heaven.  After all, she has had to live with the "spawn of Satan" for the last 44 years.  She's had her time in Hell.

Didn't know you had it in ya? A quiet joker at heart!!! I swear though "she" looked like a girl I was in the same school with. I hope she made enough $$$$'s to get a "face makeover". I actually had empathy for her as every one stayed away from her.

Pierre,

I actually have a reputation with reference to the bolded text above.  When I used to drive an 18-wheeler out of Dodge City, Kansas back in the '70's, there was group of us that hauled Anhydrous Ammonia as a fertilizer.  On the CB radio net there, the rest of the guys were known as "the Wild Bunch."  They referred to me as the "Dodge City Straight Man" because I never caroused around like the rest of them did.

Then, I pulled one little practical joke on only one of the guys in the Wild Bunch and my reputation was forever ruined.  After that little stunt, everytime something happened that no one could lay at the feet of one of the others, they would turn and look at me, trying to read my expressions or actions to see if they could confirm I had done it.

I have a reputation as being one to really "pick on" those that I like a lot.

Terry

Good one,
I worked on the Year Book in college and each year a picture of a "girl" Modine Gunch was included complete with class designation, major, the works. Of course, just as your pic, she was a figment, of someone's imagination. This went on for the 4 years that I was there and for all I know she has not yet graduated.

The school was Univ of Southwestern Louisiana, now University of Louisiana, at Lafayette.
