Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hi All...I just discovered this geat site.

I'm a 64 Canadian Retiree.

My partner passed last year and we never got started on our RV Lifestyle.

Im wondering if  there are any sites for single members to meet and plan trips together...or is there a place within this community for this kind of thing?

Welcome Gypsy, this site does not have anything specific to your needs, but we do have a lot of great knowledgable people, some single, some not. You are certainly welcome to join in. I have heard of some sites that cater to singles, Google should get you some results......

While most of the forums are specific mostly to RV'ing, Howard and Linda did include a forum category for those that are single.  If what you are looking for is not on there, it may be that other singles have posted links elswhere that are related to your wishes.  Check it out in the category entitled:

RV'ing Solo

As Gene mentioned, there is a lot of information here with regards to the lifestyle, whether it be full-time or part-timing.  Feel free to ask questions and make comments.  About the only things not discussed here are religion and politics.

There are a few of us solos here! H&L have a boondocking rally planned for February in Quartzite, there will be several solos there. I'm in WA and hope to head south mid-December.

What part of Canada are you in?
