Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I was reading about the up coming "boondocking" rally. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend but it did get me to thinking ( I know a very dangerous thing ).
Have you ever given any thought to doing webinars either live or recorded depending on the topic? I am a Realtor and the use of webinars to share and teach is now wide spread. Most are free but there are also many that are available for a small fee.
Would it be feasable for you to record segments on various topics from your rally's and make them available to those who are not currently on the road or for reasons of distance can't attend in person. You might even invite "expert" speakers to talk on specific topics in more detail.
Just wondering what your thoughts on this might be.
Win the day!
Mike

Mike Great Idea..........I was thinking on the same lines today also I would pay for a DVD copy or digital copy of a rally lecture that I couldnt attend but held a great interest.......
Even pre buying a password For a live webcam feed would be nice!!!

We have certainly considered webinars. I just haven't taken the time to figure out the best way to do them and what technology would be necessary. It's always just a little more complicated than it seems.
Filming seminars at our rallies and reproducing them is a completely different story. The costs of audio and video to produce a quality product are just way more than we could recover on sales. We have looked into that a little bit.
Thanks for the interest. Perhaps this will motivate us to revisit the options.
