Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
This is actually for you and Linda -- do you ever go back and reread your blog postings from before you went full time? As things here are finally starting to move along (albeit at a snail's pace, but still moving forward), we suddenly had the thought of 2nd thoughts and doubts. So the way we handled it was by going back to your first posts!!! It was very encouraging and just what the doctor ordered.
I also found many of those posts very funny - how scared and uncertain you were about everything. You both are the total experts now!!!
Thank you so much again for keeping this forum and your journal so up to date. RV full timing is still our dream and we're happy to not only get so much information from you (and everyone else here) but are living vicariously through you until we can get on the road.

It's hard to believe it has been seven and a half years since those early days of fear, anticipation, excitement, and yes, second thoughts.
Glad those early entries have been helpful. And yes, we do look back quite often for a variety of reasons. I'm so glad that we started our Journal from the beginning and we have all those entries to look back on.
Thanks for the kind words and we'll see you out here eventually.
