Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
This website and forum have been so useful to us! We learned about which truck to buy that fits out budget and safe towing needs. We learned about a great dealer to purchase our rig. We've learned so many safety tips. We've found recipes, humor, generous sharing, products to buy and then about WholesaleWarranties from Howard.
We purchased our truck about a month ago and purchased an extended warranty from the dealer at a special price at the same time. In our first trip across two states to pick up our rig a rear seal on the truck that was supposed to have been fixed wasn't and we had an expensive repair done by a dealer in another state. Our warranty covered it.
We wanted a warranty for our new/used rig so filled out the form on this site for a quote. It took a little nudge from Howard which we appreciated to get a response and then received a quote the same day. On our original TT we had purchased an extended warranty from the dealer. When we had a slide issue a year later we were told by the service department that it "probably wasn't covered" and it wasn't. That warranty was for 5 years on a new, much less expensive TT. Our new rig is twice as expensive and two years old yet our WholesaleWarranties quote for 7 years was significantly less than the TT 5 year dealer one. We believe it's better coverage.
We are very pleased. Thanks Howard & Linda for more great help.
