Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello, I hope you can give me some insite into the Forest River sierra 5th wheels, Quality? Construction? Any known issues? We are looking at a sierra 366FL. It has the front living room design which we like. Also like the Montana 3750FL but it is kinda pricey. Does anyone have any ideas of issues or problems with the Forest river brand or anything I should pay close attention to. Thanks for your input
I can't speak directly to the Sierra fifth wheel, but we used to have a 26' Sierra travel trailer. We only had it for a couple of years before trading for a fifth wheel made by Rockwood. The sierra was OK for our use, but back then we only spent about a week or two a year in them.
Forest River is known for making a lot of products and Cedar Creek and Cardinal both seem to be good units. However, those may be more expensive, but they may also provide better amenities. I've not looked at either in some time, but one or the other may have hydraulic leveling systems.

Hi, We're at the same stage, too many choices and where to start. I saw a post on here recomending getting the guide from RV Consumer Group at ( rvgroup@rv.org ). We did and it is really great to let you know if the unit is for fulltiming, snowbirding, vacation etc. they also give them a star rating and a full report on the different units. The cost is $150. for the package, but I feel it's worth the money if your looking for a fulltime HOME and not sure where to start. Good luck and hope to see you on the road.
