Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  Now, with only an initial and nothing else in your profile other than location and gender, I guess we can rule out calling you Juliet.

Anyway, "J" whatever, we look forward to your questions as there are a lot of knowledgeable folks here that area also friendly and helpful.  So helpful, a lot of times some of us may give you different "options" or suggestions as other approaches to an answer to your questions.

Don't be afraid to ask any question related to RV'ing as we consider that the only dumb question is the one that isn't asked in order to get an answer.  Now, having said that, you might get the occasional "smart-alecky" answer from some.

Ask away and welcome to the RV family.

Terry

Welcome from someone who’s RV has visited Alberta, BC, Yukon Territories, Yellowknife and believe it or not with the RV, the Northwest Territories town of Inuvik.  What a fabulous and beautiful country Canada is;wonderful, friendly and hospitable people.  We look forward to returning again soon.

The picture in my sig is in front of a glacier on the Ice Fields Parkway in BC where we dry camped.  What a fabulous place.

Hope you can get started in the RV very soon and this forum, like western Canada, is very friendly.

Bill

Welcome to the forum J. I lived on the west coast of Canada for many years. I miss it. We will be crossing the border into Alberta in about a month to spend the summer in the Edmonton area.

Keep posting and let us know of your adventures.

Welcome Jay,

We have visited Canada many times. The last time was a 6,000 mile round trip on motorcycles. Been up and down the ice field parkway several times and it gets better with each visit. Although it's amazing just how far the glaciers have melted back.
