Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Brand-stinking-newbs going right into fulltiming

Work is temporarily taking us to Northern Iowa beginning in July. We're still shopping for the right fifth wheel. We have two children, our son is 3 and our daughter is 4 months old. We've been hunting for months and are narrowing down our options so expect to see us asking lots of questions in the next few weeks.

Welcome ...all four of you!

Ask lots of questions, it helps me learn as well!

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  If you've not done a lot of reading here yet, I can inform you that the participants here are loaded with knowledge of just about every type of RV available.  In addition to being knowledgeable, they are also friendly and helpful.

Even though I've been here for a few years as a participant, I am still thankful to all those that helped us in our quest for the right RV.

Feel free to ask any questions as the way we all learn is with questions and answers, some with a different perspective that we've seen before.  Oh, and the only dumb questions are those that aren't asked in order to get an answer.

Enjoy being part of the RV family.

Terry

Thanks! So glad we found this site, we've been lurking for awhile so we know already how great everyone is. :) I just can't imagine how people shopped for RV's before the internet. Well I can but I bet many had to learn the hard way. Hopefully we'll avoid that.

Hi and Welcome,
We are pretty new here too. Everyone is very helpful here. They will answer your questions without judgement. My husband and I are also totally new to the RV world but we are moving ahead at full speed. Our house is on the market, we just purchased our new tow vehicle this weekend. Got a 2012 Ford F350 Diesel Dually. I've named it "The Beast". We have secured financing for our new "house on wheels" and are in full-on shopping mode. AND...we are completely overwhelmed. There are so many choices out there and so many opinions. Good luck to you!

You will all love this site. It's saved me many-a-call to my dealers service department. Extremely friendly folks here. Welcome aboard

Welcome, we are still in our house, with hopes of starting to full-time in 2013, Lord willing. Where in Northern Iowa as that is where we are also? We are in Cedar Falls/Waterloo.
Ask lots of questions, because you will find that you receive great answers. It's a great group!

Also, it's really !!!!! cold in N. IA, so prepare for that if you will be here during the winter months. I would hope Not!
