Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
If this is the the place to say hello, then, hello y'all.
I don't have an RV but I will. I don't full-time but I will. I'm not a Workamper but I will be. I havn't seen the northern lights but I will. I haven't lived in all 50 states but I only have 46 to go.
I'm here because I want to meet and befriend like minded folk. When I pass an on-comming RV I want to wave back at them with friendship and respect. I want to park on a pad with shorepower, and boondock.
I want to live smaller. I want to trade the American dream in for the RV-Dream. I want to have my residence support me instead of me supporting it. I don't want to rough it, I want to 'reasonable' it.
I want a fifth wheel and an F350. I want to learn all about black water. I want to take "wet, soap, and rinse" showers. I'll wear longjohns in the winter and much, much less in the summer.
There's more, but I want to tell you in person. See you out there.
Alan

If you've not already noticed it, this is a good place to do one's research into this lifestyle. There are a lot of knowledgable folks here who are eager and willing to help by answering questions, offering support, and offering suggestions. Feel free to ask all the questions that you need and remember that the only "dumb" questions are the ones that aren't asked.
Glad to have you as part of the family of those dreaming of the RV lifestyle and those already living it.
Terry
