Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Business for sale

I have a well established (16 years) starter and alternator business that is for sale. Price includes all inventory and tools, office and 6 months of training. Building is leased month to month. I am asking $60,000 cash for it. I have been grossing around $40K a year for the last few years. It is not one to make a killing but you can enjoy some of the profits doing whatever you like. On paper I have not made a lot of money but have always had money in the bank to be able to go play once in a while. Nice thing is if I want to be gone for a couple weeks I can just close the door and go. No employees to worry about, just me. Also after your free 6 months of training you will have me around to help as I can at a very low rate if I can continue to park my motorhome along side the shop. I will help with electric as it is fed from shop power supply. I also serve as night watchman. I could even help with the rent some if needed. Like I said I work cheap. Just not able to do it full time 5 days a week like I have in the past. Loacted just outside of Corvallis, Oregon. We enjoy a fairly mild climate year around but it does rain a lot. We are close to the coast and the mountains, each are within a couple hours drive. Corvallis is a collage town of just over 50,000 folks with lots of farming activity in the surronding area. This business could be expanded to probably double in size without a lot of work, I just didn't have the energy to do it and no longer the health to do even as much as I was doing.
