Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi all, my wife and myself have been following this web site for over a year now, and started down sizing last summer. Although we still own a home the wife has been living in the fiver since last May. We finaly retired last Sept and took off for the south at the end of Sept. We are currently work camping in southern Alabama, but can't wait to get back on the road. We are headed for Texas, for the Sping Rally, and are looking forward to meeting everyone that we feel that we already know, from the posts on this web site. A hugh THANK YOU to Howard and linda for all their hard work on this web page, and for the information that has made it much easier to start on this adventure and life style change. Also thanks to all that have added info here.
Just start in one corner and work your way out. Just no easy way to go about down sizing. If its something you just can't part with just give it to the kids. This is how we look at things, "stuff" is things and they just can't bring you health, peace and contentment. Go for it!!!!!!!!
I'll join the rest in offering you a welcome. Since you've been around for about a year, you already have an idea that there are a lot of knowledgeable and friendly folks here.
Good luck with the planning and the new life.
Terry

My wife has about three weeks of "real world" work left. We report for our first workamper position in mid Mar. We hope to chronicle our experience in our newley created blog.
