Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi, I just "googled" RV wholesale outlet Quartzsite and first thing that came up was ripoff report RV Wholesale Outlet Quartzsite at ripoffreport.com. Worth a look.
I liked the Allure when I first saw them in 2005. Never had any experience with one though. I would definitely research the dealer, many have had bad experiences with Quartzsite purchases and not just RV but various items.

I believe I stand corrected and posted too quickly after finding that info. Good question to post here. I am sure someone has dealt with them and will be willing to share a review.
looking into RV Wholesale Outlet, didn't find anything.

Not here to say anything negative about any RV dealers. But I have seen where some have closed their doors for whatever reason and opened up under a new name (same owners). And its not just RV dealers that do this.
We full timed in a 2005 Allure 470. Beautiful coach! We had 2 problems that were a design flaw, that CC fixed.
One was the placement of the air lines. They were run between the engine and the exhaust. Hence we had a line melt down. We had the lines re-routed and wrapped with insulation. CC changed the design on future coaches.
The 2nd issue was the placement of the inverter. It wasn't getting enough air flow to keep it cool so we burned out the inverter...not good on an all electric coach. CC came up with a retro fit fan that solved the issue. On newer coaches they built in fans in the compartment so no over heating.
Over all it was a great coach and we hated to give it up when we quit full timing.
Thanks very much SueMac, this is very helpful. We decided to buy the country coach, and with the support we have already received from Country Coach in Oregon, we know we have made the right choice.
Congrats ! When do you pick it up? It was a hard decision for us this time, to go with CC again or Newmar. Ended up with a Newmar Dutch Star, but the CC's are great too.
One other thing to watch for. On the top of the slides, be sure to keep the edge trim caulked. It can dry out and water get into the slides. As long as we kept ours caulked we did ok.
Not yet. I'll have to get some soon. We've been so busy today and the other days were too nasty to take any photos. Is there a special place for photos or do we put them in the posts?

I think there is a thread for pics of rigs etc, but you can just put them on this thread if you want too, don't think there are any hard/fast rules on pics.

If one is only posting one picture, it doesn't really hurt. However, if you have several pictures, I suggest putting them on a photo hosting site and then providing a link to that site in the forum's post.
There are some instructions in the "Forum Tips" category at the top of the page when you first open up the forums. Here is a link to those instructions:
When posting a picture in the body of a thread post, be careful of the size of the picture. If it is too large it really expands the size of the thread and people have to scroll back and forth just to read all the text in that thread.

Thanks for the photo tip. We should have the coach out today and I intend to have my camera with me and get some photos. I'll probably put them on my photo web site so I can share them with friends that don't read these posts (non-RV'ers).
We are now sitting at CC Factory having some fix-its done and seats installed. We were seriously dumped on with snow yesterday, so found some water leaks in two slides. Lucky for us it was wet while we were here....attitude is everything! Congrats on your new Newmar Dutch Star - our other first choice!
Thanks. The cabinetry is beautiful, but it isn't as easy to arrange as it looks. As bad as quality was on the Alfa's, they sure had the easy and usuable storage. We are slowly getting things settled as to where stuff work best.

It's been a couple weeks in our possession now, we have seen older and newer coaches, but have not seen one that we like better than the one we have. We are so happy with the RV, as well as the service here at Country Coach Corp. It seems this company sequestered the cream of the crop of the old staff, who have many years of experience under their belts. Can't say enough about the quality of workmanship, and hospitality here. Absolutely lovin' it!
