Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello All

Welcome Tony! There is a lot of useful information on this forum. Howard and Linda; Terri and Jo to name a couple. Many more and they are most helpful, with suggestions. Happy trails and gathering info for your new venture. Pieere

I am a full time wanna be with about 18 months to go.  I must say I am jealous of all who are out there now enjoying the life.  We hope to be among you soon.  I also want to say thank you for all the advice that I have gotten on the subject.  Looking forward to meeting you all soon.

Tony

Tony,

I'm glad to offer welcome to you as well.  I can attest that a LOT can be learned on this forum, most all coming with an interest in giving you answers to questions and even some alternative suggestions.  There are folks here with about every kind of RV, so the knowledge base here is huge.

Good luck with the planning, and you may be amazed at the speed with which 18 months will pass.  Not to discourage you, but it took Jo and I two years of research just to make the final decision on what RV we wanted.  However, we tend to be pretty meticulous with research and looking.

Feel free to ask questions and never worry as to whether one is "dumb."  The only dumb questions are the ones not asked and answered.

Terry

Welcome, and good luck on your research toward the full time life. I know we have gained a lot of knowledge from this site.

We are going on many weekend and extended weekend trips. We are planning to be extended travelers as we have too many grand kids (9) of various ages ( from 2yrs to 17yrs) and we want to visit frequently. There will be a t least 2 with scholarships. One for volleyball the other for Hockey. Anyway I degress. Hope to see this magnificent country before we call it quits and hang up the keys.
