Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Luvglass

I notice Fred, aka Luvglass has not been on the forum recently. I miss his words of wisdom. Has anyone been in contact with them?

His last blog/journal entry was September 5 and his last access to the RV Dreams forums was back in mid-October.  Maybe he'll check in to see what is going on and give us an update.

Yep.  I'm glad they are OK.  When one goes that long without posting to either a blog/travel journal and the forums, I always get to worrying.

Thanks,  Bill.

Jo and Fred do comment on Facebook since they stopped writing their blog on a regular basis.

Well, that explains why I haven't seen anything new with them.  We don't do Facebook or any of those other "social media" ways of keeping in touch.  It's all I can do to keep up with forums, blogs and e-mail.

Yeesh.  Next thing you know, people will be talking using two cans with a string between them.

According to the DataStorm Users Map, Fred & Jo are in Yuma, in a nice rental lot in the Foothills where they will be staying for Jan & Feb. We also miss their posts here. John & Ginny

smile With all the warnings I recieved about facebook in PC Magazine and Compuer World, etc. no Not for me, hackers have to easy a path of following one around. I have had two computers hacked and they would have costed more than they were worth to repair. Be careful even though Facebook has upped their security. Just go to these magazines and search Facebook hacks and security warnings. Just trying to pass on some info!                                                                                                            Will miss Luvglass's posts also.           Pieere                                         Happy and safe 2012!

Doesn't require any power, no annual contract, weatherproof, bandwidth is unlimited, no annoying QWERTY keyboard, no dropped calls, and upgrading just requires opening a new can of soup.

If you use one of those 64 oz jumbo cans, you can have real conference calls.
