Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello to everyone

My name is Mike and I have been married to my wife Debbie for almost 38 years. I retired from a south Florida Sheriff's Dept. after 26 years of service in 2010. Upon retiring we hit the road with our 5th wheel and began work camping. We are presently work camping in North Carolina and are really enjoying ourselves. I have been reading this forum for about 6 months and finally decided to join. I reall enjoy all of the tips that I have learned from the internet forums.

Mike,

First of all, thank you for your service to your community.  Since Jo and I both work for a law enforcement agency here in Oklahoma, we really appreciate the sacrifices that our law enforcement officers and their families make to better the community.  (In honesty, we are NOT commissioned individuals, just support folks.)

Secondly, welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  Since you've already started the full time lifestyle, we will look forward an any comments that you can make that will help others.  We also look forward to any of your questions as well.

We are glad to have you now as an active participant.

Oh, and Happy New Year.

Terry

Hello Mike,
We also have something in common. I served 34 years in Law Enforcement in Texas. When I retired in 2008, we took off in our fifth wheel and have been on the road ever since. Sold the house and livin' the dream!

There are lots of good folks here to help if you need anything.
