Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I am curious how you have yours hooked up Gene, do you have it hard wired or just use the clip style connections? I have not checked the battery on mine but am assuming they are 12 volts? Just wanted to make sure as I may want to hook my battery tender up as well.
Thanks,
Phil

Handlebar- How do you like the Boliy generator? Compared to the red and blue? Better than the chinese clones? And yes you should be able to hook a battery tender to the battery (if its accessible) without any issue. If its hard to access, use the ring terminal connectors and the plug style tender.

First of all, welcome to the RV Dreams forums. As you can see, a number of folks are willing to help you with solutions to your request.
However, there is always someone that can come along and put the fly in the ointment, and it looks like it will be me. Keep in mind, this is a simple comment and I don't have any answers for your request. However, I have been out on the internet to what looks like a Boliy dealer's website and to what looks like a "company" website.
Now, in looking at these two places I couldn't find any reference to a generator that needed a battery. None of the specificatons that I found referenced an electric start. The Boliy Guy even had a parts manual and a service manual at his site. I looked at the parts manual and couldn't find any reference to a battery.
Then, out on IRV2's website, I found a discussion about Boliy's generators and a reference to a "new one with an electric start." So, why doesn't the dealer and the company websites say anything about it?
My advice would be to go to your Boliy dealer and find out what would be needed to hook up a trickle charger. After all, with no references that I could find about a battery, there is no guarantee that the Chinese even used a 12V battery. That is why I recommend you consult with a dealer or the company itself.

I have a Boliy Generator that I purchased from Bottom Line Trading in Texas last Spring. Dealing with them has been awesome.
I live in Alberta, Canada and the unit just crapped out, the inverter is toast. Bottom Line is working with me to get me a new part...hopefully it works out!
There is a Dealer in Sherwood Park called Campgen, also known as Kindred Distribution Inc. These guys are not cool to deal with! They called me a cry baby because I was pissed that they would not work with me to get the parts I need. The unit is still under warranty but because I purchased in the US they will not stand behind it period. I even offered to pay any expenses that the incur so it cost them 0, they still won't do anything! Do not deal with Kindred Distribution or Campgen!!!!
I just finished up connecting a battery tender to my boily gen,you take off the back cover and hook up a wire to the positive side of the battery were it connects to the solenoid. Then i ran it through the hole were the manual choke would be (i have a auto choke) then used a nut and bolt.Thats were i connect the positive lead of the tender, then just connect the ground anywhere its grounded.I clip mine on the engine mount bolt, you could run a pig-tale off that and drill a hole with a nut and bolt if ya want to.But i just clamp it on the bolt. Its that easy!
