Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Does anyone know if camping world has the ability to weigh a vehicle wheel by wheel? I can't seem to find anyone that will all four corners in southern california. Any suggestions would be appreciated

The only place I have seen portable scales is at larger RV rally's, and some of the DOT's in the State enforcement do have portable Scales.. It will be a eye opener when you get the weight on each corner. Happy Trails....

There is normally someone who does weighing around Casa Grande, AZ each winter, but that might be a bit far to drive. Mostly you need to go to a rally that has weighing, which is now true at RV-Dreams rallies since Howard and Linda do weighing. You can also get to Escapees HQ in Livingston, TX, since they do weighing.

Sounds like the closest place to me so far is AZ.. I'll keep looking and if I can't find anything closer I'll head to Casa Grande as Bill Joyce mentioned.
Too bad you can’t come to the Kerrville Rally in April.Gee, just a stab in the dark but I’ll bet Howard and Linda will be weighing rigs at the Rally. What do you think?
I know using a CAT scale isn't the best, but you could at least know if you axles are OK. Better than nothing assuming you take the information for what it is worth.
Scrolling at the top of the RV-Dreams forum page it says "Keep These Dates Open - April 24 - 29, 2012 - Spring RV-Dreams Rally in Texas! Registration To Begin In November!".

I do have a cat scale within about 25 miles of me and I plan on having the axles weighed. The rally in April sounds nice not sure if we'll be able to make it or not. But we considering it!
OK. Most will not have this option, but I will mention it anyway. Out where we used to live, it was near a small town that had a feed store. Of course, that store had a regular scales for weighing trucks and such, but didn't generally use the scales all that much.
I got in touch with them and they said it was fine to go by and weigh my truck and fifth wheel. Since there wasn't a lot of business going on with the scales, I had the luxury of weighing each axle separately and even pulling the truck off of the scales and lifting the fifth wheel enough to put all the weight of the fiver on the scales by itself. I didn't even have to unhook, just lift the pin box just above the fifth wheel in the truck.
If, and that can be a big if, the area around the scales are fairly flat, one can pull on the scales in such a way as to have the axles on one side in the middle of the scales and the other axles off of the scales completely. If one can do that and weigh each axle separately as you pull on, you can get a pretty good idea of individual wheel weights.
If the area isn't flat and you try that, your weights may not be accurage because of weight shift to one side or the other, especially if you have liquids in your tanks.
Just a thought if you have that option and have friendly store personnel. Also, if you are in rural country with grain elevators, that may be an option as well.
