Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Now we're officially homeless, or should I say houseless?! Turned the house keys over to the new owners of our home last night. It feels kinds weird, but I know I'll get used to it. I'm still trying to figure out where to put everything in the RV, but at least I know where my soap, shampoo & deodorant are, so I think I can start the day!
We are right with you. We turned keys over on the 18th. Know what you mean about finding things, fun isn't it? But it feels really good to be rid of so much stuff.
Congratulations! Don't worry every thing will fall in place. That said, we're only part timers. But the more I see others going FT, the more tempting it seems! Enjoy. Pat and Charlie

Congratulations! That is how we started, FT but basically in one place. It was a good way to get to know our rig before going out on the road. You'll learn a lot even if you are standing still for a while. Enjoy!

Congrats. We've been full-time since June.Pulled x-country & back in 8 weeks,& now static 'till June '12,when we retire. We are very comfortable where we are,and after being truly "homeless" for a week while wnt'y work was done on our rig,are really enjoying it once again. Funny how you can misplace things in such a comparatively small space. That part is still sometimes frustrating, but overall I'm very happy we made this move. We base at the place we used to come to locally when we needed a fast change of scenery, and so are happy to be here,as it is familiar. It is almost but not quite as much fun as being on the go,as we get a constant flow of people in and out,and get to speak with many of them. Can't wait to hit the road once more.We hope to wrap up our business here, leaving only our consult business, which we can do from the road.I think you may find,as we have that once you get over the lack of need to constantly "do" something,a great sense of peace will prevail.

Congratulations to all of you or y'all as we say in Alabama. We sold our house in Aug. '07 and moved into our rv while continuing at our jobs until May '08 when we went on the road FT. We have been traveling the coountry ever since and love the lifestyle. We hope you find it as rewarding as we have. Safe travels.

Congratulations to all of you. We also sold this year and handed over the keys last May. In fact our house sold while we were at the RV Dreams rally in the spring. We also went through all those emotions ranging from "OMG what have we done" to "WOW this is the life". You all are going to have a blast. Drive carefully and stay safe out there. See you down the road one day soon.

Wow, you are in Colorado, we are in Elizabeth with 11.5 inches of snow, although not sure how they measure that with the wind. We are in a blizzard warning and have 4.5 ft drift in driveway. LOL How are you guys doing with the snow? Keeping warm. I can't wait until we are able to go south every winter to avoid all of this weather.
I can't say we're enjoying the snow today but we're surviving it. The RV is staying warm & everything is working well. I will be glad when it warms up tomorrow.
