Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

It's me!

Hello all,

I'm Dave Gray and my wife is Amy. Without planning, we became full time RVers after our first 10 months on the road. After the first 10 months, we went back to my house in Lompoc, CA to empty it out and leased it last June 1st. The next day we got back on the road and headed toward Goshen, IN for the 2011 National Heartland Owners Club Rally making a few stops along the way. At HOC Rally, we met the most wonderful couple, Howard and Linda.

Amy and I enjoy our travels everywhere. We don't have any grandchildren yet so in a way that is good. But we do look forward to that day we hold our first grandchild. We tell folks when registering at each RV park that we decided not to have children our first 5 years of marriage when we are asked if we have children or pets.

Amy and I married about 2.5 years ago on the beach at Pismo Beach, CA. Prior to marrying Amy, I lost my first wife of 24 years to that awful disease, cancer. In addition to traveling, we keep busy with our multiple projects. Amy is a great editor and proof reader. I own and maintain several websites and currently I’m leading the development of an application for the Android and iPhone smart phones. I’m also a freelance photographer specializing in wildlife, nature and outdoor sports.

From time to time, I’ll come back and visit this forum as I have time.

Travel safe,

Welcome Dave and Amy! Congrats on taking control of your lifestyle! My wife and I have spent the last few weekends making pests of ourselves at the local Heartland dealer, sitting in the fifth wheel we are dreaming of buying soon. Hope to see you on the road! Take care and stay safe.

Welcome the the forum. Sounds like you decided to grab life by the horns and go for it. Your tech work can be done anywhere. When we started our weekend travels, I enjoyed posting photos from the breakfast table. Our full time journey begins Jan 9th.

After we sold the house, we also made a trip to IN. Love our Heartland Big Horn 3610 RE, in fact we're living in it until the Huckster retires in Jan. We are on a beautiful Lake in Cumming Ga and truly are looking forward to FT for the future. Good luck to you both!
