Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Glad we found this site

Just a quick note to know we found this site by accident as my wife was surfing looking for RV info sources. We bought our Tiffin 35QBA in July. We love it!!! looking forward to meeting some of you folks on the road? Anyone from Northern Virginia?

Hi Yonnie,

Welcome!  We're actually in Arlington, VA but not full-timing since still I'm still working, but my wife's retired.  Glad to hear about your Tiffin.  We're looking at Tiffin as our top choice and hope to do the factory tour next Spring.

Hello Yonnie

From the NoVA area myself. Have not purchased a MH yet. Leaning towards a B class, Roadtrek in particular, maybe sometime next year and full time when daughter goes away to college in couple years.

Tim, We keep our rig at Bull Run Regional park. Pretty good campsites but great to store a rig. We plan on a couple of short weekends there before we winterize it. If you guys are interested I'll let you know when we camp next at Bull Run and you guys can check it out. I would recommend Reines RV in manassas. We can talk more if you are interested .

We took our girls camping many times but as they got older there activities shifted to boys and more social functions. They are all done with College and both married. It's now our time. Hence the MH purchase. good luck and safe travels

Yonnie,

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  We will look forward to any questions or comments that you have.  In our search for an RV, there was a Tiffin Phaeton that was our choice of motorhomes if we had gone that route.  But, since we chose to go a less expensive route, we went with a fifth wheel instead.

I thought that was a picture of Chesty.  Personally, I am an Army veteran, and if you are a Marine or other veteran, thank you for your service.

Enjoy the lifestyle and your tenure here at RV Dreams.

Terry

I used Reines RV to sell my second RV, a Class C Tioga, back in 1993. They did right by me back then. We'll hopefully get out there to take a look. We may purchase prior to retiring to actually live-in, but we have another year before we make that decision. If we get out to Bull Run, I'll certainly look you up ... but I'm spending every weekend in Chicago this fall so it may be a while. Cheers!

Hi Yonnie,

Welcome to the forum.  Although my husband and I don't currently have a motorhome, we're hoping to purchase one within the next year.  We've been spending most of our time in Costa Rica the past 5 years, but prior to Costa Rica we were living in Reston, VA on Lake Thoreau.

Tiffin is on our short list of motorhomes to see.  I'll check out the Bull Run park since that is not too far from where we lived and we know we'll want to spend some time in that area once we start traveling.
