Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

2008 DRV MS 36TKBS3 (the CoW: Castle on Wheels), 2005 Ford F550 hauler (the Bull)
Most people not familiar with the rv industry do not understand that a true full timing rig is built way beyond most of the industries highline units.
In my extensive research before we purchased this 5'ver, the only other manufacturers that even compared to what Newmar put into their high-end 5'vers, were Teton Homes and the Royals International line from Carraige. Today there is New Horizon's, Newmar and Royals intl., Teton Homes went out of business. This class of 5'vers all start at $100K and up , but for anyone looking to really full time in a fifthwheel these are the ones to choose from in my humble opinion.
The biggest draw back to this type of quality is the weight, they are heavy and require at the minimum a F350 dually truck to pull with, or a Medium Duty truck, and with the availability of medium duty trucks dwindling, currently only two manufacturers are making 4dr medium duty trucks (freightliner & International) they also start at $100k plus.
In summation, to replace what I am offering would run $200k plus...plus..plus.
