Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Lurking no more!

Guess its time for us to join in on the forum since we just registered for the Fall Rally in Hershey! smile

We're Ken and Marianne from New Jersey.  We've been camping since our honeymoon to Williamsburg, VA in 1973. We started in the back of a pickup with a cap.  Have talked about traveling all over the US and Canada when we retired.  Can't believe we're just about 3 years around from our dream.

This is a great forum and gained some wonderful tips from everyone here.   Thank you!

Welcome to the forum. smile

Good to have you aboard. Be sure to ask those questions that come up as you go through the process of getting ready to full-time.

Good luck with your plans.

Jim

There is definitely a big learning curve to prepare for RV'ing, especially if one is going to be full-timing.  So, allow me to welcome you to one of the friendliest places to find information about almost every style of RV.

Feel free to ask questions, and make comments when you can.  We all learn from each other.

Terry

Thank you all for the welcome!

Even though we've been RVing all our married life (have owned truck campers, trailers, motor homes and now our 5th wheel), traveled from Maine to Florida, have spent a couple summers living in a campground, we've come to realize full-timing isn't the same thing. Once we decided that it was time to start planning for our full-timing retirement, I started doing research and found this forum. Its the best - so much information, advise and a wealth of knowledge about full-timing.

It just made sense to come to the Rally in September to talk with people who are actually living the lifestyle.  We're excited to meet everyone!

Welcome Ken and Marianne. You've landed on a the friendliest, most knowledgeable forum around. The people here are genuine and full of experiential knowledge. We won't make Hershey but hope to be at the Texas rally in the spring that Howard mentioned a while back.
Travel safe - hope to see you on the road some day.
