Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Things are moving fast!

Well, the month of July has been very interesting. We put our house on the market a couple of months ago and figured we would be 6-12 months min. before we hit the road full-timing. But, now we are moving out Sept 1 and will be officially full-timing!

We did not sell our house, but instead had our state's newly appointed Sec. of Transportation rent it. Should prove to be a good tenant. Nice folks.

Oh, and one other minor development...we ordered a 2012 Mobile Suites 43' :)

We were planning on using our current Class A gasser for a couple of years but decided to bite now while we can and interest rates are ridiculously low.

We take delivery the week after the rally...wish we could bring it to Hershey!

See some of you at the rally and the rest of you on the road!

Sounds like things are falling into place for the Henson's. biggrin  Just curious, why did you decide to go with the 5th wheel over the MH & toad combination??  We are trying to decide which setup would work best for us, so any information would be appreciated.

azrving,

Choosing the 5er over the MH is purely a matter of preference. For us, we like the roominess of the 5er and the more residential feel to them. Financially, we can get more living space for less money with a 5er. This will be our 3rd RV, the first being a 5er, 2nd being a MH. So, we have tried them both.
