Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Almost there...

Well, we close on the house on Monday and move into our new 5th wheel home. Exciting and a little scary.

I am exhausted! We have packed up and sold 17 years of stuff. It's amazing what you can find in those closets. We are doing the storage thing for now - just till we are all settled and know that this is it. Plus, I am still having a hard time with giving up some of the stuff. I figure that will ease as we move through the process.

I am so excited to not be working to pay bills. I am excited that I won't have to clean that big (big to me) house anymore or take care of that yard. I have loved the yard, but it just takes so much time that I want to spend doing something else. Plus, with this Texas drought it is really hard to watch everything die around you.

We have talked about doing this for years. Now our son is grown and we can make the move. We orginally had a 2 year plan that got bumped up. I'm glad because 2 years could have turned into another 2 years and then maybe would have never lived our dream.

So in a few days we will begin our working retirement and a whole new adventure together. I am so excited!

Very encouraging. I hope to be out there soon as possible also.
As for the stuff you leave behind. Leave it behind. Wont take to long and you will not remember what you left in storage. That's how it was for us when we had a storage place after we moved to a smaller place.
Now we will move from this smaller place to a house on wheels. With a real big yard. So big it will takes days even weeks to cross it.
