Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I'm a new guy that lives in the Florence, SC area. I just wanted to volunteer my place for boondocking for the members heading to Myrtle Beach or up & down I-95.
I live in the country about 4 miles south of the Florence Super Walmart along the "scenic" rte to Myrtle Beach (1.5 mi of hwy 52). I have plenty of room on my 5 acres for big rigs and a outbuilding to plug into. It is secluded and quiet. But, it is easily accessible to the provisions found in the city. (Above all; it is a SAFE place for an overnite stop!)
I just want to be neighborly; and perhaps learn a few things about life on the road before my wife and I make the plunge with our family.
Feel free to drop me a PM if you are going to be in the area and would like a nice, safe and FREE overnite place to stop.
You are so kind to offer this and what a great idea! Maybe there should be a spot on here to show all of us who have homes still and would be able to offer a spot for people to stay :) We will keep you in mind when we are down that way!!

We had a 2-month job in Florence last Sept-Oct. Wish we'd known about you then! We had an overnight before we went to the job site and stayed at a campground that used to be the Florence KOA.
Enjoyed the area, especially Bass Lake Campground in Dillon, where we spent about a month after the job was finished.
Thanks for the offer!
