Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

No longer a lurker

Hello Everyone,
I've been reading and enjoying the experiences that are what we dream of doing some day. We're not rookie RV'ers as we've been doing the vacation traveling trips for years. That nasty four letter word (work) keeps us from going on a never ending vacation. We have too many years to go to start to count towards F/T but this forum has information that is usable for the P/T travelers. Thanks again for having this very friendly and informational forum. For the bad news we are also from NE Ohio.

Welcome Gary and Pam.

You're right, there are a lot of friendly folks here with a lot of information that any RVer can use.

Don't worry, we won't hold the fact that you're from Ohio against you. biggrin

Welcome from another frozen Ohioan.  I thought the 4 letter word was "snow"!

I swear I am gonna go find me another forum if you guys don't quit using those ugly four letter words. My momma would wash my mouth out with soap if I used words like you have started using. My word!! Let's clean it up please, my delicate constitution can only handle so much. (he he he)

Nw Ohio here, and only 4 years until my wife and I begin traveling around. She wants to do traveling nursing once I retire.
I enjoy reading these notes from the full timers all over the USA. My wife and I have our house on the market as we get closer to
Travelng around. I will read these post and tell my wife, boy I hate these people.. But only because we are not one of them and Only because we are stuck in NW Ohio.. I have the dully sitting in the drive just waiting to pull something down the road.

Are those your cuties in your picture?  I think my 3 letter word that keeps me from starting is "son."  He hated living in the RV.  Oh well, he's well worth a couple of years stuck in a s&b.  I too have major envy for people who can do this now.

Welcome Gary and Pam.

Lots of great people here with extensive knowledge and wonderful perspectives.

We're also "from" Ohio, but saw the error of our ways and have lived in Colorado for the past 30 years.

Hope to see you down the road.

Dave

Welcome Gary and Pam,
The one thing I am learning is the dream can take on different meanings and shapes, but we share life as it happens.  Best to you in whatever stage.
