Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Taking a stab in the dark here. We're doing work on Winnona before leaving for the rally. New tires - if they will ever show up - new water heater - replacing awning and slide toppers.
I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for a reliable place that does good work in the Richmond Virginia area. Particularly for the awning and slide replacements.
Thanks in advance just in case anyone can offer any recommendations to this very specialized request.
Sherry

Maybe someone is familiar with the area and can help you.

Two RV dealers near Richmond, McGeorge Rolling Hills, (Exit 89 off Rt. 95) and a little further up, Stafford RV (Exit 118 off Rt. 95). McGeorge is a Winnebago dealer and Stafford is an Itasca dealer so they should be very familar with your "Baby".
Good luck, hope one of them can help you. See ya' at the rally!
Best Regards!

RV Service of Virginia in Ashland, Va has always treated us very well and done good work. I have read some reviews that do not say that, but we have used them for many years with always good results. Fair prices...not the cheapest, but not the most, and they have done 'rush up' jobs in emergencies etc. to accomodate us in a very helpful manner. They have a couple of full hook up sites that they will let you stay in, but that is not commonly known.
Just our experience over the year with them...we continue to go back and use them whenever we are in Virginia.
Good luck....not too many dealers out that way! hugs!
We have also used RV Services in Ashland and have had no compaints. Price not cheap but work is good. However they are always busy and even if you make an appoitment you'll want to be there at 7am to check in. They do everything you"d ever want.
