Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Sun is out but not really shining

Took our girl to the vet yesterday and found out that she had a large tumor.  She had started to lose weight the last month and hide at the back of the coach the last few days.  She came out in the night last night and meowed with pain.  We comforted her and said our good byes.  Today we took her to the vet again.  She came to me almost 9 years ago....not a little kitten but a beautiful white Ragdoll 5 years old(shelter)  to travel through life with me(alone and divorced)  RIP our beautiful Casper.  We will meet at the rainbow bridge..........my heart aches

Janni,

Our fur kids are gifts from God to be comfort to us.  I share your hurt and emptiness.  I truly believe that the reason cats and dogs do not live as long as us humans, is that it takes more than one cat or dog to teach us about unconditional love and comfort.

There will not be another Casper, but in your future there will be another "teacher" to add to your softness of heart that Casper made so many contributions to.

Please accept my condolences.  Fur kids are so important in life!

Charles

Janni, I'm so sorry for your loss. Their passing leaves such an empty place in our hearts.

It's been about a month since Mikey passed. It does get easier...especially if there is another fur person to fill the gap!
